Seamus' Saint Report Fall 2008
By Seamus Age 9
December 10, 2008
As a boy, Max saw the Blessed Virgin, Mary. Mary said "I bring you two crowns. Will you accept them? White means you will always be pure. Red means you will die a martyr. Max accepted both. Soon he was a brother.
Max was very smart and had lots of crazy ideas. Once he wanted
to make a magaizene called Marys Knights. They let him do it. Soon he had a printer. The magazine was a big
success!
One day the Nazis took Max away to practically enslave him. Later they found out someone had escaped. They never found out who escaped. So ten random people would be killed by starvation. Max took someones place and was put in a cell.
After a few months Max was still alive! To speed up his death, the Nazis killed Max using poision.
I was amazed by how calm he was. He never fought & he never yelled, but he sang! Even when the Nazis tortchered Max for his religion, Max stayed calm and said, "I still believe!" Max is known as
MARY'S KNIGHT!
Francis' Narration (Summary) of The Princess and the Pea
The Princess and the Pea
By Francis Fifelski, Age 7
Prince Hamburg was looking all over the world for a real princess. Each king said he had a real princess, but, the prince feared they were not real. Soon he gave up and he went back to the Castle.
Then there was a knock at the palace gate. There was a princess, wet with rain! She came in the castle. The queen gave her a high bed and placed a tiny pea under the lowest mattress. (It was a test to see if she was a real princess.)
The next morning she woke pale. The queen asked, “Did you sleep well last Night?” “No! There was a big lump in my bed. You can’t sleep with it,” said the princess. The prince and queen jumped for joy. For that was the end of their search .They knew that a real princess would feel the tiny pea like a big lump.

Cold Ice and Cold Water
Last week, he asked me what 'numbers' were in his name. "I want to write my name!," he proclaimed. So, I wrote 'dot letters' for him to trace. He then wanted to write everyone's names. (He tired out after about 4 names, lol! We have a lot of names here!) So, he is showing interest in being a 'big' boy and learning to write and read like his brothers.
He has also always been 'grossed out' by kisses for a long time. Even from me! He will turn his head and say NO when I try to kiss him goodnight. He used to say 'you can only kiss me on the nose', or something silly like that.
Tonight I gave him a big kiss on the cheek and a really big squeeze before bed. He looked SO happy! He smiled at me and said, "Thank you mom." (for the hug, presumably). "I am not going to do any bad stuff any more. I am not even going to say 'cold ice and cold water'. I will just say ice water, now."
I wanted to say:
But, no, don't grow up little Peter! I LOVE it when you say 'cold ice and cold water'!!
Instead, I told him how proud I am of him. I guess that was the right thing to do.
OK, now I am getting teary eyed. Better sign off.
