Our boys are now involved in Martial Arts. Their instructor is associated with "Kinect Martial Arts".
I NEVER thought that MY children would be in martial arts. I barely even knew about it when I was a child.
However, I have come to really appreciate how the boys are encouraged to set personal goals, be respectful to their parents and teachers, practice self-control and to be physically fit.
Seamus, Francis, and Liam just earned their Yellow belts!
Patrick and I will start classes next month.
Sure, I will feel silly in the uniform.
But, I am trying to encourage my boys to make physical fitness a priority.
Family exercise is the way to go, when there are so many needs to be met.
So.. for now.. we are walking at least 1 mile daily, and also taking martial arts! Fun!
