Funny Things they Say and Do

I have been keeping these little things to share with appropriate pictures, etc. But, the truth is.. NOW or NEVER. So, here is a little collection of recent anecdotes that I would like to keep forever! (Reminder: This blog gets turned into a scrapbook in December!!)

May 5th:

My cousin moved in tonight! Peter says "I like Rob because... (pause..) He looks cool!" Michael is calling him "Bee Bop". Got my first 12 lettuce plants in the ground... 26 chickens and 2 ducks still doing great.. pictures shall get posted soon!

May 11: Francis

I just told Francis we might go to the zoo this week. With a dreamy look in his eyes, he responded, "I love the zoo! I have a passion for animals!" Then there was a pause. "Killing animals." WHAT?!? He went on to explain that he meant.. PREDATORS... animals that kill...

May 12:

My 21 y/o cousin, Rob, is staying with us this summer. This morning Liam asked him "Do you take a shower EVERY day??" Rob said "Yes!" Liam said, "WOW! You must be cleaner than a rhinoceros!" Peter said, "You must be wetter than an Ostrich". Welcome to the chaos we call home, Rob! LOL!

May 30

I told Patrick (13) that there is a conceptual physics class that he could take in the fall... but, he already has a big class load for a freshman, and... maybe it would be too much. His response, "Of course I want to take it, mom! Taking Physics is like taking another GYM class!" THIS I will NEVER understand!!
