This kid is hilarious. I just love him to pieces!
He is a bookworm. Today, we are just hanging out, and he is reading a book he BEGGED for for his birthday: "The Story of the World: Middle Ages". There are no color pictures. It is a History text. But, he LOVES it! He got the book on his birthday-- the 10th. He is on Chapter 18 of 42. Anyway, I am writing to tell you the funny thing he just said.
"Mom, Did you know that the Visigoths were captured in Spain? And then, in the reconquest of Spain, they won. Mom, I was SO sad when I read that they were captured! I LOVE the Visigoths!"
LOL. I am so glad I have been homeschooling him. There is something about having a lot of time to READ and relax with books. To be learning in your comfy couch.
He just LOVES to learn. What a GIFT!
I can't wait to get the other boys homeschooling again soon!
