He wrote this with the help of some starter questions from his LA curriculum. Writing is NOT Francis' favorite subject.. but this is the final draft of his first personal narrative!
He wrote about his special 'breakfast with dad' at a local restaurant that has lots of old plane parts/model planes etc. It is amazing HOW important these one-on-one times are for kids! We are trying to keep the 'dates' really regular. I took Patrick to see a play this weekend. It was GREAT!

Fantastic! What a neat restaurant for a date with Dad. I love his planes, and I am sitting here at 6:30 am thinking that big and puffy pancakes sound like a great idea.
That sounds great for breakfast. Fransis you did a great job telling about your breakfast date with your Dad! I bet that was so much fun!!! Just you and Dad! It could not get much better than that! Glad you had such a good time!
