SCIENCE OLYMPIAD!

The Science Olympiad is a really fun day! It goes beyond your old-fashioned Science Fair. The kids compete in many different areas of Science, after many months of preparing. (ALthough we joined late and only had about 6 weeks!)

This year, Patrick joined "Name that Scientist" and "Pentathalon".

There were 16 schools competing. His team placed 6th for Name that Scientist and 8th for Pentathalon. He competed with the homeschoolers, since his school did not send a team.

It was fun having some alone time with him. We got to just hang out and watch other teams compete. Patrick is so enthusiastic and such a good sport. He loves to cheer for all of the teams!
